Holiday Inn Resort Orlando Suites – Waterpark (formerly known as Holiday Inn Family Suites, Nickelodeon Family Suites by Holiday Inn, Nickelodeon Suites Resort, and simply the Nick Hotel) is an all-suite hotel in Orlando, Florida, United States, near the Universal Orlando Resort and one mile from Walt Disney World Resort.홀리데이 인 리조트 입니다.2005년부터 2016년까지 이 호텔은 케이블 텔레비전 채널 니켈로디언을 따라 테마로 지정되었다.[8]

리조트에는 1~3개의 침실 스위트룸과 라군풀과 오아시스풀 등 2개의 워터파크가 있다.[9]호텔에서는 시멕스-아이워크스 기술을 활용한 '4-D' 영화관,[10] 3000평방피트의 아케이드, 골프장, 다단계 농구장, 패밀리게임쇼 등이 열리고 있으며, 호텔에서는 앞서 '닉 애프터 다크' 행사장소도 열렸다.이 리조트에는 이전에 니켈로디언 브랜드 소매점과 닉툰 카페로 알려진 뷔페가 있었다.[11]리조트 입구 근처에는 이전에 플로리다 유니버설 스튜디오의 옛 니켈로디언 스튜디오 단지 밖에 묻혀 있던 타임캡슐이 있었다.[12][13]

니켈로디언 스위트 리조트는 2010년 AAA의 10대 가족 휴양지 중 하나로 선정되었으며,[14] 2011년에는 AHLEI의 인증된 게스트 서비스 자산 지정을 최초로 받았다.[15]

2021년 1월 18일 괴사조직 홀리데이 인 리조트가 11장 파산을 신청했다.[16]

역사

오리지널 호텔은 1999년 7월 7일 문을 열었고,[17] "홀리데이 인 패밀리 스위트"라는 낙인이 찍혔다.2004년 10월 7일 뉴욕에서 열린 기자회견에서 [18]홀리데이 인과 니켈로디언은 호텔의 파트너십과 리노베이션(리노베이션)을 발표하여 홀리데이 인에 의한 니켈로디언 패밀리 스위트로 탈바꿈하게 된다.이 발표는 홀리데이 인이 스펀지밥 스퀘어팬츠를 그것의 위치에 홍보하는 2년 계약에 따른 것이다.[19]

홀리데이 인(Holiday Inn)에 니켈로디언 이름을 허가하기 전에 니켈로디언은 호텔 개설을 스스로 고려했었다.[20]니켈로디언은 최근 경쟁업체들이 (클럽 디즈니와 같은) 테마 장소를 오픈하는 문제를 목격했기 때문에 이에 반대하기로 결정했다.회사는 대신 홀리데이 인에게 니켈로디언의 이름과 캐릭터를 사용할 수 있는 권한을 주기로 결정했다.니켈로디언과 홀리데이 인은 "앞으로 몇 년 동안 다른 관광지에 최소 4개의 [니켈로디언 브랜드 호텔]을 더 추가하기를 희망한다"[20]고 했으나 구체화되지는 않았다.

2005년 호텔의 2,500만[21] 달러 규모의 리노베이션은 호텔의 재개장을 홍보하기 위한 현충일 행사로 막을 내렸다.이때 리조트는 닉 라이브와 후 노우즈 베스트[22](Double Dare 테마 게임쇼가 2012년에 추가됨)라는 제목의 야간 게임쇼 2회를 개최하기 시작했다.[23]

2007년 11월, 이 리조트는 니켈로디언의 자매 채널인 노긴에서 한 달 동안 진행되는 행사인 "노긴의 달"을 주최했다.도노반 패튼(더 잘 알려진 조, 두 번째 스타이자 블루스 실전의 진행자)이 특별출연했고 호텔 투숙객들은 노긴 쇼 오비로부터 플라스틱 인형 눈을 받았다.[24]

니켈로디언 스위트 리조트는 2009년부터 맞춤 웨딩 패키지를 제공하기 시작했다.[25]2014년에 이 호텔은 도라와 친구들 초연을 홍보했다. Bubble Guppies, Dora the Explorer, Little Bill, Wonder Pets!, 그리고 Umizoomi 팀의 의상 캐릭터들이 등장하는 유치원을 테마로 한 이벤트와 함께 도시 속으로![26]또한 2014년에 이 리조트는 레이저 미로 지역을 출시했다.[27]

리브랜딩

닉호텔은 2016년 1월 29일 홈페이지에 2016년 4월 18일부터 홀리데이 인으로 다시 브랜드가 바뀐다는 공식 성명을 올렸다.니켈로디언 체험은 2016년 4월 30일 이후 단종될 예정이었으나 2016년 6월 1일로 리브랜드를 뒤로 미루면서 2016년 5월 31일까지 연장됐다.[3][4]리조트가 문을 닫기 전쯤, 이전에 리조트에서 가지고 있던 타임캡슐이 캘리포니아 버뱅크의 니켈로디언 애니메이션 스튜디오로 옮겨져, 처음 매장된 이후 처음으로 올랜도를 떠났다.[29]

괴사조직 제거 후에도 호텔은 계속 몸부림을 쳤다.2020년 COVID-19 대유행이 이 지역 관광에 영향을 미치면서 이 호텔은 2020년 4월 300명의 일자리를 잃었다.그 호텔은 2021년 1월 18일에 11장의 파산을 신청했다.[30]
