앙리장마틴
Henri-Jean Martin앙리 진 마틴(1924년 1월 16일 ~ 2007년 1월 13일)은 유럽 내 이 책의 역사에 대한 선도적인 권위자였으며, 글과 인쇄의 역사에 대한 전문가였다. 그는 프랑스에 도서관을 홍보하기 위한 노력, 그리고 도서관과 인쇄의 역사에서 리더였다.
파리에서 태어난 앙리 진 마틴의 초기 직업적 지위는 1947년부터 1958년까지 그가 맡았던 직책인 비블리오테크 국립박물관의 관리직이었다. 1958년 그는 프랑스 역사학자 루시엔 페브르와 공동 저술한 유명한 작품인 《L'apparition du Livre(The Coming of the Book)》를 출간했다. 1962년 그는 비블리오테케 시립 리옹 요리사의 관리인으로 임명되었다. 마스터 프린터 마리우스 오딘과 함께 그는 라이온의 뮤제 드 임피메리를 만드는 것을 도왔다. 1970년 그는 리옹을 떠나 파리로 향했고, 1993년까지 그가 가르쳤던 에콜 국립도서관에서 이 책의 역사 문헌학 강좌를 맡았다.
Henri-Jean Martin also taught at the École Nationale Supérieure des Bibliothèques (ENSB, in Paris, today the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Science de l'Information et des Bibliothèques / ENSSIB in Lyon), and at the École pratique des hautes études where he served thirty years as a directeur des études in the IV° section.[1]
