HD 180555는 아퀼라의 적도 별자리에 있는 이진성이다.궤도주기는 8.95년, 이심률은 0.43년으로 궤도를 선회하는 두 개의 항성으로 이루어져 있다.세 번째 성분은 8.32㎝의 각 분리대에 놓여 있으나 계통과는 무관하다.[3]
