Gesta Regum AnglorumThe Gesta Regum Anglorum (Latin for "Deeds of the Kings of the English"), originally titled De Gestis Regum Anglorum ("On the Deeds of the Kings of the English") and also anglicized as The Chronicles or The History of the Kings of England, is an early-12th-century history of the kings of England by William of Malmesbury. 그의 게슈타 폰티쿰 앙그로룸(영국의 주교 신자)의 동반작이며, 그의 히스토리아 노벨라가 그 뒤를 이어 몇 년 더 그 회계를 이어갔다.[1] 제1차 십자군 원정에 관한 연구의 일부는 차르트르의 풀처(Fulcher)가 쓴 연대기인 게슈타 프랑코룸 이헤르웨스트 페레그란티움에서 유래되었다.[2]
