Free Media Movement

자유미디어운동(FMM)은 스리랑카 출신 언론인들의 언론자유 감시단체다.

1991년 말 결성된 언론인 상임위에서 발전했다.상임위는 당시 스리랑카 정부가 미디어위원회를 도입한 데 대한 반발로 언론인과 언론인들로 구성된 단체다.[1]

그 이후로 FMM은 언론자유와 관련된 모든 분야에서 언론인과 언론인의 권리를 옹호하며 활동해왔다.그것은 또한 미디어 인력에 대한 검열과 협박에 반대하며 민주주의와 인권의 광범위한 원칙을 옹호하는 [2]입법 개혁을 요구해왔다.[1][3][4]
