엔티키데스는 에크테니지과과에 속하는 마이갈로모르프 트랩도어 거미의 속성으로 1888년 외젠 시몬에 의해 처음 설명되었다.[2]원래 크테니즈과와 함께 놓였던 그것은 1985년에 웨이퍼 트랩도어 거미로 옮겨졌고,[3] 2012년에 엑테니즈과로 옮겨졌다.[4]
