민물 clupeomorph 물고기 멀리 떨어져 오늘날의 현존하는 청어, alewives,와 정어리와 관련된 Diplomystus는 멸종된 유인원 속이다. 그 속이 처음으로 설명한 에드워드 드링커 코프에 의해 1877년에 지명되었다. 에는 Diplomystus의 7종류가 있습니다:Ddentatus(코프, 1877년), Dbirdii, Ddubetreiti, Dshengliensis(장 씨는 1983년), Dkokuraensis(Uyeno 1979년), Dprimotinus(Uyeno 1979년), Daltiformis 있다.
Diplomystus dentatus(코프, 1877년)잘 그린 리버 형성 와이오밍 체옌에서에서 낮은 에오세 퇴적물로부터 알려져 있다. 표본은 유생 크기 65cm까지, 일반적으로 멸종된 청어 Knightia sp과 밀접하게 제휴에서 발견되고 있다. 그 진흙 결국 공터calcite-bearing 셰일로 변할 커다란 호수의 그린 리버 형성은 나머지이다. 에 대한 초기 백악기 호수 동물군(그"Diplomystus-Wakinoichthys 1")의 Dkokuraensis(Uyeno 1979년), Dprimotinus(Uyeno 1979년), Daltiformis을 지배한 멤버는 현재 일본과 한국.[1]
