디지털 쇼더치(Digital Shoreditch)는 런던의 창의적, 기술적, 기업가적 인재를 축하하고 홍보하는 산업 주도의 커뮤니티다.[1] 2010년 설립된 이 컬렉티브는 디지털 분야[2] 전반의 기업과 개인을 위한 협업 네트워크로 디지털쇼어디치가 주관하는 연중 미팅, 파티, 컨퍼런스, 무역쇼, 워크숍, 해커톤, 페스티벌 및 기타 행사가 특징이다.[3][4]

축제 개요

디지털 쇼디치 페스티벌은 창조적, 기술적 커뮤니티를 아우르는 조직들을 위한 플랫폼으로 만들어졌다. 축제에는 광고, 브랜딩, 방송, 제작, 영화, 음악, 게임, 디자인 등 폭넓은 산업 분야가 대표적이다.[5] 아이디어 있는 기업과 사람들이 자신의 상품을 전시하고 잠재 투자자들과 연결하며, 디지털에 관심이 있는 모든 사람들에게 쇼케이스 역할을 하는 것이 이 축제의 목적이다.[6]

역사

2011년 공동창업자 캄스타와 제임스 올솝이 함께 만든 축제다. 2011년 5월 3일부터 7일까지 열린 제1회 디지털 쇼어디치 페스티벌에는 300명의 참가자가 참가한 알드게이트 컨퍼런스 센터에서 열린 미팅, 토크, 오픈 스튜디오, 워크샵, 일일 서밋 등이 포함되어 있다.[2]

2012

2012년 5월 21일부터 6월 1일까지 열린 디지털 쇼어디치 페스티벌은 11,900명 이상의 개인, 언론, 그리고 영국, 유럽, 그리고 세계의 다른 나라들로부터 온 회사들과 함께 영국에서 가장 큰 단일 디지털 커뮤니티 행사가 되었다.

2013

2013년 이 축제에는 14,500명 이상의 참가자와 536명의 세션 스피커가 있었다. 2254개 기업과 207개 미디어 파트너 및 후원사가 참여하여 2013년 유럽에서 가장 큰 테크 페스티벌 중 하나가 되었다.[7][8]

2014

디지털쇼어디치는 2015년 강력하게 협업하고 호응도가 높은 축제를 전달하고자 파트너와 함께 네트워킹 행사를 개최하여 성장하고 변화하는 공동체의 요구를 연구하고 이해하였다.

2015

가장 최근의 디지털 쇼어디치 축제는 2015년 5월 11일부터 24일까지 홉스턴 광장과 쇼어디치 타운홀 안에서 열렸다. 시티 대학 런던, 비자, 퀸 메리 대학 런던으로부터 일주일 이내에 수많은 파트너십과 후원이 이루어졌다. [9]

2012년부터 디지털 쇼어디치는 해크니 하우스 오스틴의 일환으로 축제를 예고해 왔다.[10]
