데이비드 바인더(David Binder, 1967년 10월 28일 캘리포니아 로스앤젤레스 출생)는 토니상 수상 브로드웨이, 오프브로드웨이, 그리고 브루클린 음악 아카데미의 웨스트엔드 연극 제작자 겸 예술 감독이다.[1]

경력

1998년 바인더는 오프브로드웨이 연극 데 라 과르다를 선보였고,[2] 2007년에는 드 라 과르다의 창작자들로부터 쇼인 푸에르자브루타를 제작하였다.

바인더는 숀 콤스, 오드라 맥도날드, 필리시아 라샤드, 사나 라선 등이 출연하는 로레인 한스베리의 <태양의 건포도>를 브로드웨이 최초로 부활시켰다.2004년 작은 두 개의 토니상 여우주연상과[3] 한 연극에서 주연을 맡은 여우주연상을 수상했다.[4]그는 브로드웨이 제작을 원작으로 한 ABC 텔레비전 영화의 프로듀서다.

2006년에 그는 The Public Sings를 제작했다. 메릴 스트립, 나탈리 포트만, 벤 스틸러, 마이크 니콜스와 함께 하는 공공 극장 50주년 기념 행사.

바인더는 2019년[9] 애덤 드라이버와 케리 러셀, 브라이언 크랜스턴 주연의 2018년[11] 네트워크 제작, 닐 패트릭 해리스[12] 주연의 헤드위그와 앵그리 인치, 제임스 프랑코와 크리스 오도드가 주연한 '마이스 앤 맨' 2014년 제작을 맡았다.[13]헤드위그와 앵그리인치는 베스트 리바이벌 등 4개의 토니상을 수상했으며,[14] 오프 마이스 앤 맨은 영국 국립극장 NT 라이브가 촬영하고 전 세계 영화관에서 상영하는 첫 브로드웨이 쇼가 되었다.[15]
