다리우스 마더(Darius Marder)는 매사추세츠 출신의 미국 영화 감독, 시나리오 작가, 편집자다.[2] 그는 제93회 아카데미 시상식에서 최우수 각본상 후보에 오른 '사운드 오브 메탈(Sound of Metal)'을 연출하고 공동 집필한 것으로 유명하다.[3] 이 영화는 아카데미 시상식에서 최우수 작품상, 편집상, 음향상 등 총 6개 부문에 노미네이트되었다.[4] 아카데미상 수상 다큐멘터리 프리헬드(2007)도 편집했다.[5]

초년기
