코리피아는 코리포이데아과에 [3]속하는 야자수[1][2] 부족이다.이전 분류에서 코리피 부족은 4개의 하위 분류군을 포함했다.Coryphoeniceae, Livistoninae,[4] Thrinacinae 및 Sabalinae는 최근의 계통학 연구에 의해 이들 아족 내의 속들이 다른 부족(Chuniophoeniceae, Trachycarpeae, Cryosphileae, Sabalae)[5][6]으로 옮겨지게 되었다.Corypheae 부족은 현재 Corypha속에만 한정되어 있다.
