쇼팽 (단위)

쇼팽은 적어도 15세기 중반부터 19세기 중반까지 사용되었던, 일반적으로 액체를 위한 스코트랜드의 볼륨 측정이었다.^[1] 이 측정치는 13세기에 처음 기록된 프랑스의 측정치인 초파인 액체 용량에서 유래된 것은 오래되고 널리 퍼져있는 액체 용량 단위였다. 쇼팽은 0.848리터에 해당한다.
