발라게더린(Irish: Bealach an Doirin, '작은 참나무 숲의 길'[2]이라는 뜻)은 아일랜드 로스커먼 카운티에 있는 마을이다. 1898년 이전까지는 메이요 카운티의 일부였다. 그것은 N5 국민경선도로 바로 옆에 위치해 있다. 2016년 인구조사에서 인구는 1,808명이었다.

역사

1860년 발라게더린 성당은 로마 가톨릭 아촌리 교구의 성당으로 헌납되었다.

2017년 3월 발라그하데린은 시리아 내전 난민 수백 명을 위한 긴급 접수 및 오리엔테이션 센터(EROC)가 됐다.[5] 2018년 4월에는 난민들이 지역사회에 들어온 것을 환영해 올해의 사람들상을 수상하는 영예를 안았다.[6]

2008년 발라게더린

발라그하이드린은 코스텔로의 바론(Barony)의 일부분이며 킬콜레만의 교구에 있다.[3]

발라게더린은 1898년 발라게더린과 에드먼스타운의 마을과 교구가 지방정부법에 따라 메이요 카운티에서 이전된 이후 로스커먼 카운티의 일부였다. 이로 인해 일부 이상 현상이 발생했는데, 예를 들어, 지역 게일 체육 협회 팀이 Mayo GAA 카운티 이사회에 소속되어 있다.

운송

발라게더린은 이전에 롱포드와 웨스트포트를 잇는 N5 국민경선도로에 위치해 있었다. 그러나 2014년 9월 N5가 마을 북부로 재출동하면서 마을은 우회했다.[9][10]

가장 가까운 철도역은 캐슬레아(21km)와 보일(26km)에 있다. 발라게더린은 이전부터 킬프리 분기점에서 발라게더린 지선이 운행했으며 발라게더린 역은 1874년 11월 2일에 개통되어 1963년 2월 4일에 영구 폐쇄되었다.[11] 역의 집은 역의 바로 옆에, 심각한 유기의 상태로 서 있다.

발라게더린은 더블린-발리나 버스 노선에 있으며 매일 여러 대의 버스가 운행되고 있다.

발라게더린은 아일랜드 서공항 노크에서 22km 떨어진 곳에 위치해 있다.
