아르틸(Artil: أرل Artil)은 예멘의 사나 주(Sana Governorate) 산한 구에 있는 마을이다.[1] 그것은 베이트 바우스의 남쪽 2km 지점에 위치해 있다.[2]
이름
A.B.D.R. Eagle에 따르면, Artil은 그 이름의 "가장 현대적인 발음"이다; 그것은 알리 이븐 무함마드 알-아바시의 Sratrat에서 Artul을 발음한다. 그리고 이것이 그 이름의 오래된 발음일 수도 있다.[2]
역사
The first known mention of is in the Ghāyat al-amānī, by Yahya ibn al-Husayn,[3] which says that during Shawwal of 290 AH (August-September 903), Ali ibn al-Husay Khuftum, the former Abbasid governor of Sanaa, stayed at Artil for six days before being taken captive here and then imprisoned at Bayt Baws.[2] 로버트 T.O. 윌슨, 아르틸은 이 기간 동안 "보완 가능하고 방어할 수 있는 위치보다는 사나에 대항하는 운동의 근거지"로 사용되었다.[3]
