알프레드 블롬필드 D.D. (1833년[3] 8월 31일 ~ 1894년 11월 5일)[4][5]는 19세기 마지막 수십 년간의 성공회 주교였다[6].

알프레드는 찰스 제임스 블롬필드 런던 주교의 막내아들로 건축가 아서 블롬필드, 아동작가 루시 엘리자베스 배더, 헨리 존 블롬필드 제독의 동생이었다.[7]그는 옥스퍼드 해로우와 발리올 대학에서 교육을 받았으며, 1855년에 예술 학사(BA)와 1857년에 옥스퍼드 예술 석사(MA 옥슨)를 취득한 옥스퍼드 올 소울 칼리지에서 펠로우십 상을 받았다.[3]1857년부터 그는 키더민스터의 쿠라테(Curate)로 그 후 그 비카르(Vicar)[8]로 1858년[3](그리고 아마도 전년도 집사)로 서품된 사제였다.키더민스터에서 그는 처음에 토마스 레그 클로튼 밑에서 대리인으로 일했고, 그는 나중에 세인트 알반스의 초대 주교로 함께 일하게 된다.[9]
