알버트 리차드 하우(Albert Richards Howe, 1840년 1월 1일 ~ 1884년 6월 1일)는 미국의 사업가 겸 정치인이었다.그는 미국 하원에서 미시시피를 대표했고 미시시피 하원에서 일했다.
초년기
하우는 매사추세츠주 브룩필드에서 프란치스코 하우와 마리아 A. (리처드) 하우의 아들로 태어났다.[1]그는 고전학을 추구했고,[2] 1861년 연합군에 사병으로 입대하여 매사추세츠 의용 보병 제47연대에서 복무했다.
남북 전쟁 기간 동안, 그는 로버트 E까지 그랜트 장군 휘하에서 버지니아에서 복무했다. 버지니아주 애포마트톡스에서 리의 투항리는 항복한 후 1865년 11월 30일 제대할 때까지 텍사스에서 웨이첼 장군 휘하에서 복무했다.[3]제대할 무렵 그는 소령으로 진급해 있었다.[4]군 복무 후 미시시피 주 코모로 이주하여 목화 심기에 종사하게 되었다.
정치 경력
그는 정치에 관여하게 되었고 1868년 미시시피 헌법 협약의 일원이 되었다.또한 1868년 공화당 전당대회 대의원을 지냈다.[5]1869년 미시시피주 파놀라 카운티의 회계 담당자로 임명되었다.[6]1870년부터 1872년까지 그는 미시시피 하원 의원이었다.[7]
하우는 1873년 3월 4일부터 1875년 3월 3일까지 제43대 의회 공화당 후보로 선출되었다.[8]의회에서는 클레임 위원회에서 활동했다.[9]그는 1874년 44대 의회 재선에 실패한 후보였다.
의회를 떠난 뒤 일리노이주 시카고로 건너가 중개업에서 일했다.1884년 6월 1일 시카고에서 사망했으며,[10] 매사추세츠주 브룩필드의 브룩필드 묘지에 매장되어 있다.
가정생활
하우의 아버지 프란시스 하우는 매사추세츠 주 하원의원과 매사추세츠 주 상원의원이었다.[11]
