아쿨코는 멕시코시티 지하철 8호선을 따라가는 역이다.[2][3][4]멕시코시티 이즈타팔라파 자치구 콜론니아 푸에블로 아쿨코 인근 에제3오테를 넘어 트라바자도라스 소사이어티(에제6수르)가 지나는 다리 아래에 위치한다.[2]역의 로고는 운하의 물파다.[2]나후아틀에서 그것은 "물이 꼬이는 곳"[2]을 의미한다.이 명칭은 멕시코 주 아쿨코 자치구의 명칭이기도 하다.[2]

역사

이 역은 1994년 7월 20일에 개통되었다.[5]

2006년 12월 16일 한 승객이 선로 위로 추락하는 사고가 발생하여 역의 지하철 운행이 중단되었다.[6][7]2007년 7월 24일 역에서 한 소년이 승객에게 태어났다.[8]2010년 9월 26일, 아쿨코 역 플랫폼에서 열차 반대편 문을 연 사건 이후 8호선 열차 운영자가 음주운전으로 체포되어 해고되었다.[9][10]

2020년 4월 23일부터 6월 18일까지 멕시코에서 COVID-19 대유행으로 인해 이 역은 일시적으로 폐쇄되었다.[11][12]
