2019년 1월 21일 이비루아의 쿡 아일랜드 선거구에서 보궐선거가 실시되었다.[1]그 보궐선거는 토니 암스트롱 의원이 사망한 후 소집되었다.[2]

이번 선거는 네 명의 후보가 경쟁했다.토니 암스트롱 전 하원의원의 부인인 아그네스 암스트롱 전 민주당 의원, 티리키 헤더 전 쿡제도연합당 부총리, 데릴 라일리 쿡제도당 의원, 제이슨 테레모아나 무소속 의원.[3]보궐선거는 아그네스 암스트롱이 승리했다.[4][5]
