틴사이드 리도는 영국 [2][3]남서부 플리머스에 있는 1935년식 아트 데코 리도이다.플리머스 사운드 옆에 자리 잡고 있으며 플리머스 회와 스미톤의 타워가 내려다보입니다.리도는 5월부터 [4][5]9월까지 여름에 문을 연다.
역사
리도는 1935년 존 위벌리에 [1]의해 설계되었다.1935년 10월[1] 2일 정식 개관하였다
인기도 하락과 방치의 피해자인 리도는 1992년에 문을 닫았지만, 시끄러운 지역 캠페인이 340만 파운드의 비용으로 리노베이션으로 이어졌고 1998년에는 [1]2급 빌딩으로 지정되었다.이 [2][6][7]시설은 2005년에 다시 일반에 개방되었다.정비하는 동안 세 개의 조수 풀, 부두, 다이빙 보드는 모두 제거되거나 채워졌다.

Alongside the ring of bright lido water pushing into the grey sea are several smaller, unregulated pools and rickety diving platforms... It had a stunning view: a turn of the head took you from the chopping sea to the clarity of the pool; a lift of the chin took your eye from the blue water to the blooming of "Plymouth" written in municipal bedding plants on the hill above.

This beautiful 1930s colonnaded structure below Hoe Road reopened in 2003 after years of neglect and local government wranglings. The huge, semi-circular, art deco-inspired pool uses treated seawater and is open for a cooling dip from May to September. Plus there are three tidal pools built into the rocks next door, with high diving boards to boot.
