티모시 카터 코신스(/1970년 3월 31일생)[1][2]는 미국프로야구 메이저리그 볼티모어 오리올스의 감독이다.[3]

경력

코신스는 캘리포니아 주 산타 로사의 산타 로사 고등학교를 졸업했다.[4]산타 로사 주니어 칼리지에 다녔고,[5] 오클라호마 대학교로 전학하여 오클라호마 순어스 팀에서 대학 야구를 했다.[6]피츠버그는 1992년 MLB 드래프트 39라운드에서 코신스를 선발했지만 오클라호마로 복귀하면서 피츠버그와 계약하지 않았다.[7]텍사스 레인저스는 1993년 MLB 드래프트 16라운드에서 그를 선발했다.[8]그는 2000년까지 마이너리그 야구에서 뛰었다.선수 생활을 마친 뒤 마이애미 말린스에서 4년간 마이너리그 감독으로 일하다가 2007년 말린스의 마이너리그 캐칭 코디네이터로 부임했다.2012년 시즌 이후 시카고 컵스에 고용되어 마이너리그 현장 코디네이터로 발탁되어 컵스의 선수 개발 감독으로 승진된 브랜든 하이드의 뒤를 이었다.[9]

코신스는 캘리포니아의 산타 로사에 산다.그에게는 2017년 10월 북캘리포니아 산불 당시 의용소방대원으로 복무한 아들이 있다.[13]
