Syllable (computing)

컴퓨팅에서 음절은 플랫폼에 의존하는 정보 저장 단위의 명칭이다.대상 하드웨어에 따라 다양한 비트 폭(및 때로는 내부 그룹화)이 관련된다.1960년대와 1970년대에 흔히 사용되는 이 용어는 대부분 바이트나 단어와 같은 용어에 호의적으로 사용되지 않게 되었다.
