역사
Spotfire는 Christopher Ahlberg와 Ben Shneiderman에 의해 1990년대 초에 동적 쿼리 애플리케이션을 개발하기 위해 만들어졌습니다.
Ahlberg는 스웨덴으로 돌아와 비주얼 데이터 분석 툴인 IVEE(Information Visualization and Explorer Environment)의 강화된 UNIX 구현을 개발했습니다.
IVEE Development는 1996년 중반 Spotfire Inc.[1]로 이름을 변경했다.
