호주 [1]서부가 원산지인 아스테라과(Asteraceae)에 속하는 백합과의 식물이다.그것은 1806년 자크 라빌라르디에에 [2][3]의해 처음 기술되었다.
그것은 습한 [4]곳의 모래 토양에서 1cm에서 15cm 높이까지 자라는 한해살이 초본이다.그것의 흰색에서 크림색 꽃은 9월부터 [4]1월까지 볼 수 있다.
