쿠엔틴 바작(Quentin Bajak, 1965년 출생)은 프랑스의 박물관 큐레이터 겸 미술사학자로 사진사에 특화된 인물이다.[1]그는 파리의 Galerie Nationale du Jeu de Paume의 감독이다.

바작은 오르세 미술관(1995–2003), 조지 퐁피두 센터(2003–2010), 루브르 국립 미술관과 에콜 뒤 루브르 미술관(2010–2013), 현대 미술관(2013–2018)에서 자리를 지켰다.

경력

국립 퍼트리모인 연구소의 졸업장을 받은 바작 박사는 1995년 오르세 미술관에서사진 큐레이터로 임명됐다가 2003년 조지 퐁피두 센터(조르주 퐁피두 센터)에 입사해 사진학과 부 큐레이터로 활동해 왔다.[2].2010년에는 국립미술관 모데네 관방장관과 루브르 박물관의 교수로 임명되었다.2013년 1월 뉴욕 현대미술관(MoMA)의 사진 큐레이터 조엘과 앤 에렌크란츠에 임명되었다.[2][3]바작은 2018년 11월 파리의 갈레리 국립미술관장이 될 때까지 MoMA에서 그 직위에 머물렀다.[4][5]
