Pseudo-Abdias

사이비 압디아(Phosi-Abdias)는 이전에 비블리오테크 국립 프랑스에 의해 소장된 신약성서 아포크리파(Apocrypha)의 컬렉션에 붙여진 이름이며, 라틴어 번역으로 구성된 10권의 장으로 구성되어 있다. 각각의 책은 사도들 중 한 사람의 삶을 묘사하고 있다.[1][2]

The name "Pseudo Abdias" itself is a mistake, dating from the edition of Swiss scholar Wolfgang Lazius (1552), and based on the mention of a disciple called Abdias, who is presented as the companion of the two apostles Simon and Judas Thaddeus on the way to Persia in one of the books, Passio Simonis et Iudae (BHL H, 7749-7751).[3]

In Lazius' edition (W. Lazius, Abdiae Babyloniae episcopi et apostolorum discipuli de historia certaminis apostolici libri decem Basel, 1552), the introduction to the Pseudo-Abdias is allegedly written by Sextus Julius Africanus who claimed the originals were written by Abdias of Babylon who was allegedly consecrated by Saint Simon and personally k새로운 사도들 중 일부 압디아스는 원래 히브리어와 라틴어로 쓴 것으로 되어 있었는데, 그 후 그의 조수인 "에우트로피우스"에 의해 고대 그리스어로 번역되었다.[1]

미술사학자 오토 데머스는 사이비 압디아스가 베니스에 있는 세인트마크 바실리카의 모자이크 디자이너들에게 상당한 영향을 미쳤다고 주장했다.[5] 메러디스 파슨스 릴리치는 랭스 성당의 스테인드글라스에서 사이비-아브디아스의 영향력과 같은 것을 본다.[5]
