Pleasanton Fault

플레전톤 단층은 미국 캘리포니아 주 알라메다 카운티와 콘트라 코스타 카운티의 지진 활동 지질 구조물로,[1] 지질학적 보고에서 단층 존재에 대한 증거가 발견되지 않아 논란이 되고 있다.[2]

수문학적 특징에 대한 관계

리버모어 계곡을 배수하는 모든 하천이 베르날 서브바신 위로 합쳐진 다음 아로요 데 라 라구나로 서브바신과 계곡을 떠난다. 지하수는 미정착에서 제한에 이르는 조건 하에서 베르날 서브바신의 계곡 바닥 부분 전체에 걸쳐 발생한다. 플레전톤시 남쪽의 플레전톤 단층에는 지하수가 유입되지 않는다. 이 결과는 남부 구역의 지하수 이동은 기본적으로 플레전턴 단층과 평행하기 때문에 발생한다.[3]
