Nu2 Boötis는 북방 보에테스 별자리에 있는 백색 후두의 이항성계통이다[10].그것은 외관상 5.02의 조합된 시각적 크기를 가지고 육안으로 희미하게 보인다.[2]지구에서 볼 수 있는 연간 시차 변화량 7.86 mas를 바탕으로 태양으로부터 약 415광년 떨어진 곳에 위치한다.[1]이 시스템은 -16.6 km/s의 방사형 속도로 태양 가까이 이동하고 있다.[5]

이 항성 쌍은 9년의 기간과 0.0615 아크초의 반조르 축으로 거의 원형 궤도를 가지고 있다.[10]둘 다 시각적 크기 5.80이며, 1차 성분인 A는 A형 주계열성으로 A5 V의 별 분류를 한다.[4]이것은 A형 조개 항성으로 확인되었으며, 항성 하나 또는 두 개의 항성을 공전하는 기체의 항성 원반이 존재함을 암시한다.[11]그 외에 C와 D로 불리는 이 쌍에 가까운 별 두 개가 있지만, 그들은 물리적으로 관계가 없다.[12]
