밀필드는 뉴사우스웨일스의 세스녹 시(City of Cessnock)에 있는 마을이다.[2]2016년 인구조사 기준으로 1,006명의 인구를 가지고 있다.[1]

밀필드에는 일반 상점과 역사적으로 유명한 욱일승천여관이 들어서 있으며, 현재는 박물관으로 운영되고 있다.[3]

밀필드 공립학교는 1868년에 개교했다.[4]이 학교는 2015년에 62명의 학생이 등록했다.[5]1929년부터 1970년까지 크로포드빌 공립학교 밀필드의 두 번째 학교가 운영되었다.[6]

밀필드 우체국은 1854년에 문을 열었다.[7]

세인트루크 성공회는 1880년에 세워졌다.[8]2018년 6월 세스녹에 있는 세인트존스교회와 통합예배를 드리는 등 아동성학대 생존자 보상기금을 마련하기 위한 교구계획의 일환으로 폐업 및 매각 가능성이 제기되었다.[9][10]그 교회는 성당의 회중을 흡수했었다.토마스는 2014년 교회가 문을 닫았을 때 엘라롱에 있었다.[11]

헤이스 로드에 위치한 밀필드 묘지는 세스녹 시의회가 관리하고 있다.[12]

100롯 규모의 신규 택지개발인 로즈힐 에스테이트가 2017년 5월 분양에 나섰다.개발은 당초 700가구에 대한 계획이 진행되지 않았고, 500여 명의 주민이 역사마을의 과잉개발을 이유로 수정안에 반대하는 청원서에 서명했으나 2014년 재지정 동의안이 가결돼 1표 차로 무산되는 등 논란이 일었다.마운트 뷰 로드 외곽에서 222블록의 추가 개발이 제안된다.주민들이 마을 인구를 거의 두 배로 늘릴 수 있다고 반발하면서 이 역시 논란의 발단이 됐다.[13][14][15][16]
