멜빈 앨런 "멜" 굿맨은 국가안보 및 정보 전문가다.중앙정보국(CIA)과 국무부 분석관으로 일했고, 국립전쟁대학과 존스홉킨스대학에서 강의했으며, 국제정책센터(Center for International Policy Center for International Policy.[1]

경력

굿맨의 지능 경력은 그가 암호작가로 일했던 미군에서 시작되었다.[2]그 후 1966년부터 1974년까지 [2]중앙정보부에서 분석가로 일했다.그는 1974년 정보연구국으로 전근했고, 이후 2년간 수석 분석가로 일했다.1976년 중앙정보부로 복귀해 1986년 떠날 때까지 소련 사무국에서 사단장과 선임 분석관을 지냈다.

전략무기제한회담의 정보자문역도 맡았다.

그는 1986년부터 2004년까지 국제안보학 교수로 국립전쟁대학에서 강의를 계속했다.[2]그는 현재 존스 홉킨스 대학의 부교수, 국제 정책 센터의 선임 연구원이다.
