매튜 로크(fl. 1660–1683)는 영국 행정가로, 그가 그것을 팔았을 때, 1666년부터 1683년까지 전쟁 장관직을 소유하고 있었다.[1]
로크는 1651년에 설립된 "이리쉬 앤 스코틀랜드 위원회"의 사무원이었으며, 후에 이 위원회의 어린 헨리 베인에 대한 증거를 제시했다.[2] 폴 데이비스 경의 조카로 아일랜드 사업에도 관여했으며, 당시 조지 몬크의 개인 비서였다.[3] 그는 또한 어느 정도 거리에서는 로버트 사우스웰과 관련이 있었다.[4]
1670년 (알베말 공작이 된) 몽크가 죽은 후 로크는 비서관의 역할을 변형시켰다. 그것은 군사 이동과 공급 명령의 상당한 부분을 차지했다. 로크의 임기는 그 직책의 행정적 역할을 공고히 했다.[5]
