마틴 A. 앨런(1931~2009)은 Computervision Corporation의 회장,[1] 공동[2] 설립자, 최대 개인 주주(227만2,866주)였다. 첫 번째 제품인 CADDS-1은 인쇄 회로 배치와 2-D 제도 시장을 겨냥했다.
아이오와주 데스모인에서 태어난 앨런은 캘리포니아에서 자랐다.[3] 그는 버클리 캘리포니아 대학에 다녔고 공학 학위를 취득했다.[3] 앨런은 57세의 나이로 1988년 1월 29일 프라임 컴퓨터 주식회사에 회사를 매각하면서 3,400만 달러의 순이익을 올렸다.[4][citation needed]
