로런스 F. 카플란
Lawrence F.
로런스 F. 카플란(Kaplan, 1969년 출생)은 세계문제 편집자 겸 외교정책잡지인 더 내셔널 이쿼터스(The National Interest)의 편집자였다. 그는 또한 미국 육군전쟁대학의 저명한 초빙교수다. 그는 이전에 신공화국의 선임 편집장으로서 미국의 외교정책과 국제문제에 대해 썼다. 2005~2007년 카플란은 이라크에서 이 잡지에 기고했다. 그는 또한 월스트리트 저널, 파이낸셜 타임즈, 슬레이트, 뉴욕 타임즈, 워싱턴 포스트, 그리고 다른 많은 출판물들에 대한 외교 정책에 대해서도 썼다.
카플란은 유대인 가정에서[1] 태어났으며 컬럼비아 대학교, 옥스퍼드 대학교, 존스 홉킨스 고등 국제학부를 졸업했다.
