아마추어 경력

월시는 조지아주 수와니에 있는 피치트리 리지 고등학교를 다녔고 조지아 대학에서 대학 야구를 했다.[1][2]2013년에는 케이프 코드 베이스볼 리그의 코투이트 주전자들과 대학 여름 야구를 했고, 리그 올스타로 선정되었다.[3]2015년 메이저리그 드래프트 39라운드에서 LA 에인절스에 선발됐다.[4]
