J C 도살 폭포는 호주 퀸즐랜드주 브리즈번 중심상업지구에서 서쪽으로 약 10km(6.2mi) 떨어진 쿠오타산 교외 이타카 크릭에 있는 폭포다.[3]
역사
제2차 세계 대전 동안, 쿠오타산 숲의 큰 부분들은 미 해군의 군수품 가게로 사용되었다.[4]이전에 쿠오타산에 존재했던 두 개의 댐 외에, 일부 지역 기슭은 군대의 사용에 필요한 물을 공급하기 위해 방향을 바꾸었다.[5]그 댐들은 도살 폭포로 자연적인 물의 공급을 바꾸었다.[6]JC 도축 폭포 피크닉 지역을 조성하기 위한 후속 조경은 1960년대에 일어났다.[7]
위치 및 기능
폭포는 쿡타산 숲 공원 내에 위치하며, 피크닉 구역과 주차 구역이 있다.[8]
쿠트타 산 정상 트랙은 J C 도축 폭포 피크닉 지역에서 유칼립투스 숲을 통해 이동한다.그 등급은 짧은 구간에서 가파르다.Coot-tha Warchant 산은 도시, 모어튼 베이, 스트래드브로크 섬, 그리고 남쪽 산맥의 전경을 볼 수 있다.이 트랙은 쉬운 걷기로 분류되며 약 1시간이 소요되며 왕복 3.8km(2.4mi)이다.쿰타 산 숲은 브리즈번 중앙 사업구에서 서쪽으로 5km(3mi) 떨어져 있다.접근은 Sir Samuel Griffith Drive 또는 Gap Creek Road, Mount Coottha를 경유한다.[9]
