자나단 샨카 마하샤브데는 인도의 안과 의사였다.[1] 그는 마하샤브데 네트라라야와[2] 인도르 안과 병원의 설립자였다.[3] 그는 인디고어과 안과 학회(IDOS)의 초기 회원 중 한 명이었다.[4] 인도 정부는 그에게 1992년 파드마 슈라이의 네 번째로 높은 시민상을 수여했다.[5] 올인디아 안과학회는 안과의사를 기리는 마하샤브데 상(Mahashabde Award)을 제정했다.[6]
