호말로니쿠스(Homalonychus)는 거미류(Araneomorphia)의 속성으로 호말로니치과(Homalonychae)과에 속하는 유일한 속이다. 그것은 1891년 조지 막스에 의해 처음 묘사되었다.[2] 2019년[update] 5월 현재 H. 라그하바이드, H. 셀레노포이드, H. 신학의 3종만을 포함하고 있다.[1] 미국 남부와 멕시코에서 두 마리가 발견된다: H. 신학은 대부분 콜로라도 강 서쪽에서 발견되는 반면, Selenopoides는 대부분 동쪽 지역에서 발견되며, 일부 인구는 데스 밸리와 네바다주 수성 근처에서 발견된다.[3]
그들은 거미줄을 짓지 않으며, 일반적으로 바위나 죽은 초목 밑에서 발견된다. 적어도 북미의 두 종은 사막에 살고 있는데, 사막에는 모래와 고운 흙을 스스로 붙일 수 있는 색채와 전문화된 세태가 서식한다. 부분적으로 묻기도 한다.[4]
1991년 인도에서 단일 암컷이 설명되었지만,[5] 이 속에서는 잘못 설명되었을 가능성이 높다.[1]
