고로드는 프랑스 보르도 출신의 테크니컬 데스 메탈 밴드다.

역사

고로드는 1997년 고르가즘이라는 이름으로 결성되었다.이들은 2004년 데드선 레코드에서 데뷔 앨범 'Neurotripsicks'를 발매했다.이 밴드는 미국의 데스 메탈 밴드인 Gorgasm과 혼동을 피하기 위해 2005년 이름을 Gorod로 변경했고, 이후 2005년 Willowtip Records에 데뷔 앨범을 다시 발표했다.

이름이 바뀐 이후 고로드는 6개의 정규 스튜디오 앨범을 발매했는데, 가장 최근인 2018년 10월에 발매된 아에트라.고로드는 미국 메릴랜드 데스페스트에 참가하는 등 창사 이래 인기를 누리고 있다.
