Gilbert Ansre는 가나 언어학자, 학술자, 사제, 성경 번역 컨설턴트다.[1]

조기생활과 교육

그는 당시 가나 동부 지역 오두마세의 장로교 소년 중등학교로 알려진 장로교 소년 고등 학교에 다녔다.그의 대학교육은 1966년 그가 졸업한 런던 대학에서였다.그가 제출한 논문은 "Ewe의 문법 단위 : 그들의 구조, 계급, 시스템에 대한 연구"[2]에 관한 것이었다.

경력

그는 언어학 교수로 있던 가나 대학에서 일했다.그는 먼저 가나 대학의 언어학과를 설립하고 이끌었다.[3]그는 1975년부터 1979년 사이에 이 대학의 아쿠아포 홀의 마스터였다.[4]그의 관심분야는 어조와 에우어 구문을 포함한다.

성경 번역

안드레는 가나와 토고에서 성경 번역 작업에 적극적으로 참여했다.그는 가나 볼타 지역의 냐그보어, 타피어, 로그바어 등을 문서 형태로 발전시키기 위한 NYALOTA 프로젝트의 기술 고문이었다.[8]2017년에는 가나의 성경 번역 니즈를 분석하기 위해 가나 성서협회와 GILBT 공동기술위원회 위원장을 맡았다.[9]그는 특히 성경을 여러 서아프리카 언어로 번역하는 분야에서 GILBT의 작업에 적극적이었다.[10]여기에는 13개의 다른 언어뿐만 아니라 그의 고유 언어인 Ewe 언어가 포함되었다.[3]

명예

트리니티 신학 대학인 레곤에는 안드레와 퀘시 딕슨을 기리기 위해 설립된 학회장이 있다.이것은 성서 엑세게시스 & 모국어 헤르메우틱스의 Kwesi Desckson-Gilbert Ansre 저명한 의장이다.[11]길버트 앤스레가 가나 언어의 발전에 기여한 공로는 가나 언어학, 문해 및 성경 번역원(GILLBT)이 인정해 2015년 2월 아크라에서 'Kwame Nkrumah 아프리카어 천재상'을 수여했다.[12][13]

가족

길버트 앤스레는 그의 아버지 길버트 밴사 앤스레의 이름을 따서 지어졌는데, 그는 장로교 목사였고 또한 에든버러 대학교를 졸업했다.그의 어머니는 펠리시아 안젤리카 앙드레(네네네)였다.[14]
