가르디의 땅

가디네 랜드(Gardyne's Land)는 스코틀랜드 던디(Dunde)의 하이 스트리트에 있는 5개의 역사적인 건물들로 이루어진 복합 건물이다. 그것들은 그 도시에서 가장 오래된 국내 건물이다.

설명

Gardynes Land는 1560년경부터 L플랜 3층 상인의 집, 1640년경부터 하숙, 1790년경부터 연립, 1820년경부터 당구장, 1845년경부터 빅토리아식 소매단위로 구성되어 있다.[1] 5개의 가르디네스 랜드 빌딩은 모두 A등급 건물이다.[2][3]

가디네스 랜드는 1995년 타이사이드 건물 보존 신탁의 주목을 받았다.[4] 1997년과 2000년 사이에 신탁은 그 건물들을 인수했고 그들의 복구를 위한 기금을 모았다. 바람과 방수공사의 첫 단계는 2000년에 시작되었다. 2000년과 2003년 사이에 전문팀이 임명되었고, 먼저 계획서를 작성하여 단지를 호스텔로 개조하는 것이 승인되었다.[4] 2005년 4월, 가디네스 랜드 프로젝트는 던디 시의회에 넘겨졌다.

가디네의 토지 복원은 던디 시빅 트러스트, 던디 건축가 연구소, 로얄 타운 기획 연구소, 스코틀랜드의 기획 및 재생 잡지의 품질에 대한 상을 받았다.[4]
