흔히 페코스 [2]양족류로 알려진 가마루스 페코스는 갑각류의 한 종류이다.미국 텍사스 주 페코스 카운티의 고유종으로 다이아몬드 Y 스프링(Wilbank Spring이라고도 함)과 레온 [1]크릭 두 곳에서만 알려져 있습니다.
Gammarus pecos는 IUCN Red [1]List에 의해 취약한 종으로 분류되었습니다.이 종이 서식하는 봄과 시네가 서식지의 일부는 현재 자연보호구역인 다이아몬드 Y 스프링 프로저브(Diamond Y Spring Preserve)[3]의 일부로 보호되고 있다.
