Gaelcholáiste Chéitinn (Irish pronunciation: [ˈɡeːl̪ˠxəˌl̪ˠaːʃtʲə ˈçeːtʲɪn̠ʲ]) is a second-level school in Ireland that teaches students from Clonmel and the surrounding area through the medium of the Irish language.Part of the Central Technical Institute (CTI) on the Mall, the Gaelcholáiste is one of the CTI's three education identities (the others being the secondary school, Coláiste Chluain Meala, and CTI Senior College of Further Education), all three of which fall under the auspices of the Tipperary Education and Training Board (ETB).[1]
역사
게일콜라이스트 체이틴은 아일랜드 시인 제프리 키팅과 관련하여 이름이 붙여졌다.[2]
게일콜라이스테는 2004년 9월 3년간의 수습 기간으로 설립되었다.[3]개교 당시 가엘콜라이스테는 13명의 남학생과 1명의 여학생 등 14명의 1학년 학생을 두었다.이 중 소녀를 포함한 11명은 지역 게일스코일 출신이다.나머지 3명의 학생들은 이 지역의 다른 초등학교 출신이다.14명의 학생 중 적어도 8명의 학부모는 CTI의 과거 학생이었다.2006년까지 게일콜라이스테는 26명의 학생이 있었다.[4]2009년에 정식으로 개교하여 당시 95명의 수강생이 등록되었다.[5]
가엘콜라이스테가 첫 번째 무인테우아르 이 bhFeighil을 열었을 때 마투인 oo Caoimh였다.
