유진 맥기(Eugene McGee, 1941년 11월 16일 ~ 2019년 5월 5일)는 아일랜드 게일릭의 축구 선수, 감독, 트레이너, 셀렉터, 게일릭 게임 관리자[1] 및 저널리스트로,[2] 오팔리 시니어 축구팀 감독으로 재직했던 것으로 가장 잘 알려져 있다.[3]맥기는 1980년, 1981년, 1982년 라이스터 시니어 풋볼 챔피언십과 1982년 올아일랜드 시니어 풋볼 챔피언십 우승을 위해 오프럴리 팀을 이끌었다.[4][5][6]
맥기는 리암 오닐의 GAA 총재 시절 축구심사위원회(FRC)의 의장을 맡아 블랙카드 도입 등 경기 적응을 이끌었다.[6]
그는 롱포드 리더, 아일랜드 프레스, 선데이 프레스, 선데이 트리뷴, 아일랜드 인디펜던트를 위해 글을 썼다.[6]
맥기는 죽기 6개월도 채 되지 않아 RTé One이 보여줬던 다큐멘터리 '성실한 선수들'의 인터뷰에 응했다.[7]
