DashO는 Java, Kotlin 및 Android 응용 프로그램용 코드 난독화기, 컴팩터, 옵티마이저, 워터마커[2] 및 암호화기다.[3]코드 복잡성이 커지더라도 성능 손실이 거의 또는 전혀 발생하지 않도록 하는 것을 목표로 한다.[4][5]
또한 DashO는 정적으로 코드를 분석하여 미사용 유형, 방법, 필드를 찾아 삭제할 수 있어 응용프로그램을 작게 만들 수 있다.DashO는 디버깅, 통화 기록 등 게시된 애플리케이션에서 필요하지 않은 사용된 방법을 삭제할 수 있다.
