다니엘 루이스 샤르나스[1](Daniel Louis Charnas, 1967년 8월 30일 출생)[2]는 미국의 작가, 라디오 진행자, 음반 회사 임원이다.힙합 저널리즘 창설에 한몫했다는 평가를 받고 있다.

뉴욕시 출신인 샤르나스는 1989년 보스턴 대학교에서 커뮤니케이션 학사 학위를 받고 우등으로 졸업했다.[3][4]2007년 샤르나스는 컬럼비아 대학 언론대학원에서 석사학위를 받았다.[1][3]그의 석사학위 논문 제목은 쇼크: 출생권 언플러그드(Birthright Unplugged)가 미국 유대인들의 마음과 마음을 위한 서사적 싸움에서 이스라엘 탄생권에 도전한다.[5]

라디오 방송인으로서 샤르나스는 로스앤젤레스에서 KPWR의 한 코너를 진행하였다.[6]언론인으로서 그는 힙합 잡지 The Source의 작가였다.[7]프로필 레코드의 인재 스카우트가 되었고, 후에 워너 브라더스와의 합작으로 아메리칸 레코딩스의 랩 부문을 운영하였다. 기록.[6][7]
