큐리오시티 브루잉(Gurious Bring, 구 큐리오시티 맥주)은 켄트 주 애쉬포드에 있는 양조장이다.켄트에 본사를 둔 와이너리 그룹 채플 다운이 2011년 설립했다.[1][2][3]

역사

채플 다운은 2010년 레스터에 본사를 둔 양조장 에버라드에서 맥주와 에일리를 수입하며 라거 생산을 시작했지만 현지 생산단지를 오픈하고 싶어했다.[4]양조장은 2016년 말 마을 협의회로부터 개발 허가를 받았다.이 부지는 대부분 크라우드 펀딩에서 170만 파운드의 투자를 받아 2017년 11월 개발을 위해 매입됐다.[5]

이 양조장은 애쉬포드 국제역 인근 빅토리아 로드에 있는 1.6에이커(0.65ha)의 옛 브라운필드 부지에 위치해 있다.[5]1층에는 가게와 바를 포함하여 공공이 출입할 수 있는 구역이 1000평방피트(93m2)에 이른다.다른 곳에는 4천 평방 피트(370m2)의 바와 두 개의 식당이 있다.폭포가 건물 한쪽에 설치되어 있다.[12]이 부지는 1943년 3월 24일 제2차 세계대전 당시 폭탄으로 철거된 비버 로드 스쿨을 이전에 수용했던 브라운필드 부지에 있다.이 양조장의 이름은 폭발 직전에 모든 아이들을 대피시켰던 이 학교의 교장을 기리기 위해 "미스 애덤스"라고 이름 붙여졌다.[16]

제품군

그 회사는 와인메이킹 방식으로 다양한 맥주와 라거를 생산한다.여기에는 큐리오시티 브루와 큐리오시티 IPA가 포함된다.[3]이 그룹은 생맥주 제품뿐만 아니라 캔에 담긴 큐리오시티 세션 IPA를 생산하고 있는데, 이 IPA는 2019년 Beer Can Sadving Day에 출시되었다.[17]부피별 알코올(ABV) 4.4%로 강세 기네스 IPA를 5.6% ABV로 대체했다.[18]

"Currious and Kuriouser" 맥주의 특별 선택이 도입되었다.이 이름은 앨리스가 "궁금하고 호기심이 많아지고 있다"고 말한 소설 '이상한 나라의 앨리스 모험'에서 따왔다.[3]
