Code for America Commons는 Code for America와 OpenPlans가 정부 기관이 코드와 모범 사례를 공유할 수 있도록 지원함으로써 정부 IT 비용을 절감하는 데 초점을 맞춘 프로젝트다.[1]처음에는 독립 비영리 단체로서 Civil Commons로 출범하였으나, 이후 Code for America의 프로그램이 되었다.[1]이 프로젝트는 Code for America, OpenPlans, 그리고 City of Columbia's Office of Chief Technology Officer (OCTO) 간의 협력적인 노력이다.[2]

연방 IT 대시보드

EAS(Enterprise Addressing System, EAS)는 샌프란시스코 기술부가 도시의 마스터 주소 데이터베이스를 관리하기 위해 도입한 웹 기반 애플리케이션이다.[5]EAS에 대한 다른 관할권의 관심을 표명하는 것에 대해, 샌프란시스코 시는 Civil Commons의 도움을 받아 시스템의 소스를 개방하기로 결정했다.[6]2011년 초, Farallon Girialics는 오픈 소스 지리공간 기술을 사용하여 EAS를 위한 보안 솔루션을 개발했다.[7]
