심바

Chhimba

심바(Chhimba, Tonk Kshtariya)는 크샤트리야 카스트 공동체, 인도의 시크족으로 다양하게 묘사되어 있다.[1]

인도의 삼바 지구에서 그들의 전통적 직업은 죽어 가고 손으로 찍어내는 칼리코 원단이었다. 아마 히마찰프라데시 지역으로 이주한 사람들 중 몇 명이었을 것이다. 그곳에서 그들은 그 지역의 카디 사람들이 많이 선호하는 다소 다른 스타일의 천을 만들었다.[2]
