Chattogram Water and Sewerage Authority (Bengali: চট্টগ্রাম ওয়াসা) is a Bangladesh government service agency under the Ministry of Local Government, Rural Development and Co-operatives responsible for providing water and sewerage facilities to residents of Chittagong.[1]A.K.M. 파즐룰라는 차토그램 상하수도청의 전무이사다.[2]

역사

차토그램 상하수도청은 1963년에 설립되었다.1996년 상하수도법 통과를 통해 상하수도청으로 권위를 개편하고 명칭을 변경하였다.치타공시에 하수와 상수도 공급을 의무화함으로써 현재는 치타공시공사가 하수도 서비스를 제공하는 동안에만 물을 공급하고 있다.[3]2019년 WASA는 불법 물채취로 연간 9000만 taka의 수익을 잃고 있었다.[4]

채토그램 와사(WASA)는 2019년 3월 고객들을 위해 콜센터를 열었다.[5]2019년 4월 2일 차토그램 와사(WASA)는 일본 국제협력기구가 출자한 소화전 200개 설치 계획을 발표했다.[6]

비판

차토그램 와사(WASA)는 송유관 상에서의 수분 손실과 그 결과 공급 부족이라는 비난을 받고 있다.급수 시스템은 2010년에 운반한 물의 거의 40%를 잃었다.[7]2017년 1월 WASA 송유관의 누수는 250건으로 아직 보수되지 않았다.[8]치타공시 역시 물 관리 소홀로 홍수가 발생한다.[9]
