CSMI
CSMI는 미국 펜실베이니아주 체스터에 있는 영리 목적의 차터 스쿨 운영자다.체스터 업랜드 학군에 체스터 커뮤니티 차터 스쿨과 뉴저지에 있는 학교를 운영하고 있다.CSMI는 바한 H. 구레히안이 이끌고 있다.워싱턴포스트는 2020년 8월 CSMI가 학군을 인수할 태세로 달성한 행정비용과 교육성과를 비판하는 기사를 실었다.[1]또한 뉴저지 주 갤러웨이 타운쉽에서 애틀랜틱 커뮤니티 차터 스쿨을 운영하고 있다.[2]그 학교에서 1등을 한 학생들은 쇼핑으로 상을 받았다.[3]뉴저지 캠던에서 운영하던 학교는 성적이 좋지 않아 휴교했다.[2]
2019년 체스터 학군 인수를 추진했으나 한 판사가 이를 거부했다.[4][5]
체스터 커뮤니티 차터 스쿨은 2021년 4월 푸드뱅크를 개최했다.구레히안과 CSMI는 또한 학생들을 위해 랩탑 컴퓨터를 후원하고 사립 고등학교에 진학하는 학생들에게 장학금을 지급하는 것을 도왔다.[6]
