제임스 "버디" 맥어컨(James "Buddy" MacEachern, 1940년 6월 29일 ~ 2018년 6월 15일)은 노바스코샤 출신의 캐나다 정치인이다.그는 1974년부터 1981년까지 노바스코샤 국회의사당에 있는 케이프 브레튼 센터의 선거구를 대표했다.그는 노바스코샤 신민당 소속이었다.[1]
인생
MacEachern은 1940년 6월 29일 노바스코샤의 시드니에서 태어났다.[2]
1974년 지방선거에서 맥어컨은 진보 보수당 현직인 마이크 라핀을 누르고 케이프 브레튼 센터(Kape Breton Centre)에서 우승했다.[3][4]1978년 선거에서 재선되었으며,[5] 1980년 제러미 애커먼의 사임으로 당의 임시 지도자가 되었다.[6]그는 리더십 컨벤션에서 알렉사 맥도너를 리더로 선출할 때까지 한 달 동안 일했다.[7]전당대회에서도 맥어컨이 3위로 입후보했다.[7]1981년 선거에서 맥이헌트는 MLA의 전 MLA인 마이크 라핀에게 패배했다.[8][9]
